16 weeks
I am almost 16 weeks now, and am feeling much much better! I am still quite tired, but I do have several hours during the day when I really want to clean or bake or have play time with Taylor. Today we took the car to be washed (I can't tell you the last time that the car has seen soap), dropped a mountain of clothes at the dry cleaners, and ran a few errands at the mall. After those few stops, I was more than ready for a nap!
I am definitely getting my appetite back. I especially enjoy dishes where red sauce is involved. As a matter of fact, we are having homemade pizza tonight. I can hardly wait! With Taylor, I craved tons of fresh fruit. While I enjoy fresh fruit with this baby, I really want anything Italian.
I had my 16 week appointment with the OB this week. He said that everything looks great. The baby's heartbeat was around 150 beats per minute. It was hard for the nurse to get a good read on the heartbeat because the baby was moving around so much. That confirmed that those movements and feelings I have been feeling truly are the baby moving. I have wondered for maybe a week or so if the pressure and the rolling movements have been the baby. Right before she checked the heartbeat, I had those same feelings. I look forward to feeling them now because I am quite certain that it is the little Parker getting comfortable in there. We have our big 20 week ultrasound scheduled for the middle of August. We should know before my birthday if Taylor is going to have a little sister or a little brother. We can hardly wait!
No pictures for right now. I simply haven't taken the camera on any of our adventures to the pool, the library, play dates, etc. Hopefully I will have more soon!
