We just got a new digital camera, and have taken loads of pictures of Baxter. Here are a few of the cutest ones.

It's a Boy!

It's official. We're having a boy! We are so excited. Now all we have to do is come up with a name. Kevin is pulling for William Robert (aka. Billy Bob), Bruce likes Pugsley, and Bob is partial to Rufus. I don't know about those but I'm leaning towards Paco Parker. It has a nice ring to it. Anyway, here are some pics from the ultra-sound. A video is on the way.

162 Beats Per Minute!

Today we were able to hear the baby's heartbeat for the first time. The doctor was able to pick up the whooshing horse-trot-like beat after about a minute or so. Dave and I were speechless as we listened intently. I can't wait to hear it again in four weeks!

Our First Ultrasound

Here is our first ultrasound. Cassie says she can see eyes and mouth. Looks like a tornado on a fuzzy TV to me.

It was amazing to actually see something on the ultrasound today! What was more amazing was seeing that adorable little flutter of a heartbeat. I was absolutely speechless. Of course, as all mothers would say, I think that the baby is absolutely adorable already. I keep thinking that I see eyes, nose, mouth, arms, etc., but it is probably my mind and eyes playing tricks on me. I can't wait until it actually looks like a small baby. It won't be long, and I can hardly wait!

There's A Baby On The Way!

We'll it's official. On June 8th, two pink lines confirmed that we are truly pregnant! According to the doctors, we are due on February 15th. Maybe we'll have a Valentine's Day baby if it comes early. Dave and I are so excited and still in shock. We can't wait to meet the new little Parker!!
