Hummus and Kashi

Hummus and Kashi (aka "bar" or "cereal bar" to Taylor) are probably two of Taylor's favorite words. He absolutely LOVES hummus and Kashi cereal bars for a snack. It is so funny to watch his face light up in the afternoon when we get home from school. He immediately goes into the kitchen and says, "Snack!" When he is hungry, he is hungry, and the food better be close by. Notice in the picture below that he is shoveling the hummus in his mouth all while holding a cereal bar in his other hand. Also, notice the last picture. Look carefully because it is a picture of the wheat thin that he used to shovel out the hummus. He never ate the cracker. He just used it as a shovel and licked off all of the hummus. Therefore, I guess that he thought that it was appropriate to throw it back in the box and use it next time.

It's been a while

It's definitely been a while since I did a post. I bet you are pretty tired of looking at the same old pretzels and bagels!! Recently, I feel like we have all been full steam ahead. So busy! It's no excuse though. I need to keep the updates and pictures coming. Here are a few recent fun pictures of Taylor.

I'm Addicted!

Confession- I am addicted to my new bread maker. I had no idea how addictive it would become. Since I was home with Taylor for two weeks at Christmas and then three days right after Christmas break (due to a bad virus and hives), I have had a ton of time to discover the endless possibilities that you can create with such a machine. I got so excited at how things turned out that I had to take a picture and document that I did actually make these things. Check out the pictures below of the pretzels and bagels that I made. So...if you see a stash of carbohydrates at your door soon just know that I had to feed my addiction and make more breads. We can't keep eating them or else Dave, Taylor, and I will be huge!

Cold, cold, cold

Today is very cold, but it isn't raining and Taylor is feeling better. Therefore, we just had to venture outside. We bundled Taylor and ourselves (even Baxter) up and headed up to the local elementary school to play on the playground. We let Baxter off of the leash while Taylor played on the playground and in the sandbox. I think that he may of even had more fun than Taylor. Check out the pictures.
