The garden is in bloom!

Here are a few shots of my garden.  There is already a tiny baby squash and a handful of small green grape tomatoes.  I can't believe that they are already here.  It will be a while until we can harvest them, but at least  we know that they are starting to grow.  Last year, I would see all of these beautiful yellow blooms on my squash plant.  I would get so excited, and then the blooms would fall off...no squash!  This year, I at least have the potential for many beautiful squash, zucchini, and tomatoes!!

Our weekend

Here are a few fun shots of our weekend.  We spent the weekend relaxing, enjoying great food with my parents, a trip to the zoo, putting together our new compost bin, practicing golf with Dave, and a few naps here and there!

The sweetest cupcake birthday party!

On Saturday, we attended a 4th birthday party for our sweet friend and neighbor, AnnaKate.  Of course, her mom, Kelly, went all out with her cupcake themed party.  Everything was perfect- the cake, cupcakes, cookies, decorations, and more.  Thanks, Kelly and AnnaKate for a great time.  Happy 4th Birthday again, AnnaKate!

Easter 2010

Easter morning could not have been more beautiful!  We began our day with an inspirational church service, followed by an egg hunt or two, and then topped it off with wonderful food and fellowship with close friends and family.
