So real I could cry

I have to brag again on Dave's artistic ability.  This is my favorite painting so far (I say that after every painting of his, but seriously this is the best)!  Take a look.

Christie and family visit from Atlanta

My best friend, Christie, came up from Atlanta for the weekend.  It is amazing how you can squeeze so much in to such a short visit.  Of course, Saturday was extremely rainy and cold.  However, we made the best of it by doing a little shopping, making pizza, and having the kids play dress up, trucks, and trains at home.  We love seeing the Williams, but don't get to see them often enough.  We look forward to another visit from them closer to Christmas.  Next time though, there will be another little Williams in tow.  We miss you guys already, and we can't wait to meet Sweet Pea!!

Just a little singing

Recently, Taylor has been a singing mood. Every day on our ride home from school, Taylor tells me what happened at school, who went to time out, and who he played with on the playground. Then, he wants to sing, count, or comment on every single man and truck that he sees. It is quite the eventful ride home! Of course, when I try to get a singing moment on video, he doesn't want to perform as normal. I was at least able to get a little bit of singing out of him on Saturday night. Unfortunately, you will have to hear my terrible voice in the background, but I promise it will be worth it to see Taylor's facial expression and arm movement when he sings the word "strong." It is just too cute! I even started laughing in the video because of his expressions. When he realized that I was taping him, the look he gave me made me laugh. Pardon my laughing in yet another video!

Moments I Love

There are times in my life when my heart melts. Listening to Taylor sing "Jesus Loves Me" is one that will bring tears to my eyes. Watching Dave read to Taylor is one that I can watch forever. Seeing my father with my child is another. Oh how I love to sit back and watch those moments happen. I just want to savor them forever!

Fun with Kirk and Melissa

My brother, Kirk, and his adorable wife, Melissa, flew up from Florida on Thursday evening for a visit. It has been an incredibly fast trip, but we have packed in many fun things with them. On Friday night, Dave, Taylor, and I visited with Kirk and Melissa at my parents' house. On Saturday, we ate a great breakfast at Soby's On the Side, walked through the market downtown, strolled through Falls Park, watched the movie Julie and Julia, and then topped the evening off with an amazing dinner at the Lake Lanier Tea House. I am exhausted, but thrilled to have spent so much time with everyone!

Taylor absolutely adores his Uncle Kirk. He talks about him constantly. He really loves theStetson Law School bear that Kirk brought for him. Taylor sleeps with it each night. I think that Kirk is trying to start Taylor off early with a law school influence from his dear alma mater. We are going to see Kirk and Melissa for one last visit this evening. We will miss them dearly, but look forward to seeing them for Christmas!! We love you guys and miss you already
