162 Beats Per Minute!
Today we were able to hear the baby's heartbeat for the first time. The doctor was able to pick up the whooshing horse-trot-like beat after about a minute or so. Dave and I were speechless as we listened intently. I can't wait to hear it again in four weeks!

Man, that is such an awesome sound! I remember when we first heard it as well. So exciting!
Its amazing that a heart that small can pump so fast.
