There is a first time for everything!

Taylor has done a number of "firsts" in the past few days. Two days ago, he just all of the sudden discovered that the fork that he likes to play with actually picks food up for him to put in his mouth. Once he discovered the fork, he was determined to scoop or stab every item on his tray. About half of the food makes it into his mouth- but hey, it's a start! Second, Emily came over to play yesterday. Well, she discovered the rocking horse (it's like a stuffed animal horse that you can ride) that we have had to keep in the sun room because Taylor is petrified of it. Taylor refuses to be anywhere near the horse. In fact, when we are in the sun room, he watches it like a hawk and is careful not to be around it alone. Emily rocked and rocked, and Taylor was absolutely amazed that she was not eaten or something else equally as terrible. Once she got off of the horse, he slowly approached it, petted it, and then wanted to ride. The horse is now in our den, and Taylor cried when he had to leave it last night and go to bed. Amazing!!! Thanks, Emily, for being the guinnea pig for Taylor. Lastly, Taylor discovered his nose (no need to say anymore- just look at the last picture).
